Set in small-town Oregon, the latest in the witty, charming Witch Way Librarian series from bestselling and acclaimed author Angela M. Sanders features a spellbinding heroine, a clever cat familiar, a glamorous movie star—and of course, murder. The perfect read for fans of Bailey Cates, Adele Abbott, Juliet Blackwell, and all mystery lovers with a taste for the witchy.

For a tiny town, picturesque Wilfred, Oregon, has everything, including an impressive library housed in a Victorian mansion, a touch of magic in new librarian and fledgling witch, Josie Way, a visiting movie star—and a curious tendency toward murder…

Josie and all of Wilfred are buzzing with excitement. A-list movie star Daphne Morris has chosen to interview Roz, assistant librarian and novelist, for her book club. But when the glamorous actress quickly charms both Roz’s long-time love and Sheriff Sam, the object of Josie’s unrequited affection, Josie turns to the whispers from her beloved books for ideas on revising the plot. Yet soon there’s another twist . . .

At a party to celebrate the interview, Daphne’s personal chef is found dead in a scene that all too closely echoes one in Roz’s novel. It’s clear to Josie that someone’s idea of a happy ending means framing her friend. She’ll have to read between the lines with the help of the library’s enchanted stacks, guidance from her magical grandmother’s letters, and her cat familiar, Rodney, to solve this murder before someone decides to stage a deadly sequel . . .

Witch and Famous by Angela M. Sanders see Ms. Josie Way trying to keep Roz from going to jail.

Will Josie Way unmask the killer before it’s too late?

Josie Way

Josie has been learning about her newfound magical abilities for the past ten months. Her grandmother, mother, and sisters all have magical powers but not her until now. Josie’s grandmother’s specialty seemed to be the earth, her mom seeing things, and her sisters healing people. The only one who seems to have the magic most like Josie’s is her grandmother, and she leaves Josie lessons and her grimoire to help guide her since she can’t. I love popping into one of these stories to see how Josie’s magical studies fall in line, unknowingly to Josie, with the most recent murder investigation that she is helping to solve.

Josie’s magical abilities with the books are so fantastic to read. It works wonderfully with the story, and the more she finds out about it we do as well. I adore everything about Josie and can’t wait to see how she continues to grow.

Witch and Famous CR

The Mystery

Wilford, Oregon, has another murderer on the loose that probably followed Daphne Morris, an actress, to Wilford, intending to kill her. Instead, they got her personal chef. Josie and Sam Wilford are on the case to solve and stop the murderer from killing anyone else. For Josie, she must also ensure that Roz is kept out of jail since she can’t lose her assistant. I figured out whodunit first off, then changed my mind, yet, I returned to that culprit and motive before Josie. However, I figure out the rest of the mystery.

Five Stars

Witch and Famous by Angela M. Sanders is about a witch in small-town Oregon trying to keep a low profile and solve mysteries as her high calling. Well, that is until Sam Wilford tries to keep her out of his investigations as a way to keep her safe. Ms. Sanders has a great way of keeping me on my toes while reading her books. I adore reading every single one of these books.

I am giving Witch and Famous by Angela M. Sanders five stars and recommending it to all readers who love a good cozy paranormal mystery.
